I have decided i want to use action figures that are between 3 and 4 inches. I am also considering repainting the figures to make the characters look like they are hopped up on drugs. As well as just changing the color of their wardrobes. Mouths will be added in post for dialogue. I will be using these pre-made mouths.
maybe think about drawing your own characters? using the action figures of cartoon characters to make a movie about those same cartoon characters might be a tad redundant and what is the point exactly, what does it add? I mean Todd Haynes used Barbie dolls to talk about anorexia and fame so his choice is a comment indeed. How to get more friction out of this juxtaposition you want between good clean kiddie cartoons and stoner movie??
